What’s pushing you today? In good ways or bad, what’s making you feel the adrenaline, need to hurry, demanding your attention?
Any of those things can be great – pushing you to the next level, making sure the necessary gets done. And all of them can drain your resilience a bit. That’s true for everyone.
Often, we not only see that other people are stressed, we cause stress in others. On purpose. Because we need them to make a decision or take an action or step up in some way. We’ve been talking for the last couple of weeks about how to get people to do those things – to manage their stress better – by building their resilience up.
We talked about how empathy makes people more resilient.
This week, we talk about time. How does time help? How much time do they actually need? And why we’re the ones to give it to them
What do you know about moving other people along? Hit reply and let me know! And see you next week for the last – and most useful – thing you can do to make other people more resilient.
All my best,
Dr. G
