“Kids today have no work ethic!”
Everywhere I go, I hear this. Parents, coaches, college professors, HR departments, CEO’s… everyone is worried about the next generation. No accountability, no drive, no perseverance all are concerns voiced to me, everywhere from military bases to TV programs.
That’s terrible. But there IS a silver lining.
If you can teach your kids a good work ethic, they’ll thrive!
Use these two sentences, and start today, for any child from 2 to 18. No matter what the task is that needs to get done:
- bringing in groceries
- cleaning
- cooking
- getting ready for a party
- getting out the door in the morning
- homework
- caring for a loved one
Teach your kids these two sentences over and over and your child will rise above the pack.
